The diet rich with meat, fish, eggs, meat, fish, eggs, seeds, nuts, fruits and vegetables, seeds, nuts, and fruits. The above list can be extended. There is a plenty of food choices to eat in the paleo diet. A good combination of food can be appealing and interesting. It takes time and practice to adapt and change. There are plenty of paleo cookbooks and guides. A good book
handy will be helpful to try different recipes and to keep it interesting.

Following the Paleo diet is more convenient these days than the past. It can be a little expensive in some countries due to the lack of availability of certain ingredients. Nuts are expensive and it is an important part of the diet. Even virgin oils are priced high and replacing honey with sugar will make it an expensive shopping trip. Cost is the only downside I see in following the diet, however, it has numerous health benefits.

I tried to follow the paleo diet to experience changes and difficulties. I found it difficult to follow the paleo diet during the one month trial period and that was totally psychological to the fact that I was ‘dieting’. When I changed the mindset and started to see that as a ‘lifestyle’ it was easier to follow the food list and lifestyle. I honestly believe that one can be successful only when they believe it as a lifestyle than a diet itself.
