As our organs are scheduled to work based on a biological clock, we are supposed to do all our day to day activities without disrupting our body’s clock. Consistent disruption may cause immediate problems and in many cases risks of long-term illness. For instance, Melatonin plays an important role in health. Less sleep or lack of sleep or even sleeping at an inappropriate time will affect secretion of melatonin. A dark environment is required for secretion, it is important to sleep at night. As the sun rises, the secretion is inhibited and the body follows its biological clock with all available resources.
Eating meals on time is critically important to have a sufficient supply of energy for our day to day activities. For instance, eating breakfast before 7:30 AM will enable good digestion and supply of nutrients. Likewise eating lunch between 12:00 AM & 1:00 PM and dinner between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM will ensure good digestion and supply of fuel, healing, building, and detoxification. Our busy lifestyle has led to changes in our daily routines.
It is wise to follow our ancestors' lifestyle. Start the day early in the morning. Have an early breakfast to have sufficient energy for the day ahead. Subsequently eating other meals on time helps to stay with the biological clock.
Sleeping early is important for good health. Our ancestors knew this and they slept early and woke up early. This allows the body to secrete, process, repair and build. The food they ate was not processed and mostly had seasonal fruits, vegetables, and fresh meat.
The biological clock shall be used as a guide to performing activities. For example, eating on time helps our body to eliminate toxins and live a healthy life.
